Article Processing Charge (APC)
All articles in IIKII journals are published in full open access. To provide free access to readers and to cover the costs associated with peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and the management of the journal, an article processing charge (APC) of 300 USD applies to papers accepted after peer review. Submitted papers should be well formatted in appropriate English. Note that many national and private research funding organizations and universities explicitly cover APCs for articles stemming from their funded research projects.

Local VAT or Sales Tax will be added if applicable.

Waivers and discounts may be granted at the Publisher's discretion with discussions in the Editorial Office when an article is submitted. Editorial decision-making is decoupled from the authors' ability to pay the APC. However, authors should consider in advance whether they have sufficient funds to cover the full APC.

All manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English and must be consistent in style, spelling, and syntax. Manuscripts will be published in English. The Article Processing Charge (APC) covers only minor English editing. If the English quality of the manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards and requires extensive editing, an additional English editing fee (USD 200) will apply. This decision will be made by the Academic Editor based on the reviewers’ suggestions. Authors may also opt to use an external English editing service. Please note that we do not impose this fee arbitrarily; it is only applied when the language quality significantly affects the readability and scientific communication of the manuscript.

Until 2025, IIKII has not charged external authors a fee for article processing or English editing. It does not have any revenue. In line with the transparency principle, we will open up how our APCs are invested in the future.
